The Egyptian March of Johann Strauss, Jr. is a joyful, yet quirky, piece in which the surprise for the audience comes towards the middle of the piece when the members of the performing group begin to sing along with their playing. Included in this arrangement are six individual percussion parts, of which three are mandatory (snare drum, bass drum, cymbals), and three are optional (tambourine, triangle, glockenspiel). It is a delightful march, with an Egyptian flare, sure to entertain (and surprise) all audiences.
