Drigo's Dream to Desert plays with the myriad ways to produce sound on the flute. As if from another world, just like in a dream, fly so to speak individual particles of the original melody over to us. Here, Offermans draws on the harmonic structure of Drigo's original at the beginiing .In the middle part the sounds are clearer and more thematically related, the gestures become harder. After that, everything seems to disappear in floating void.
