Kate Cuzner really knows how to write for the flute and this catchy little Rag is sure to please. All parts have a try at the rag-time rhythms, although flute 1 carries most of the notes. The key is C major which makes reading a little less stressful and there is a good deal of unity across the parts. The overall effect is very pleasing. This is a great addition to the repertoire for students of this level - do try it!
