This is such a fun piece to play. A fast introduction leads into the famous tune followed by a brief waltz before the main theme returns in all its glory. Dating from 1892, Daisy Bell is unquestionably the most famous and most enduring of the Victorian ballads. It is presented here in a light-hearted arrangement for mixed flute quartet, featuring a solo section and interjections for bicycle bells and horn, played by the alto flute (or a special guest star!).
