This is such a great way to start performing this wonderful concerto by CPE Bach! Carla Rees has used the orginal solo flute part with some astute editing of her own. She then uses the accompanying forces sensitively with robust scoring of the tutti passages and much less texture during the solos. Ideal preparation for the real thing or just brilliant as it stands - either way you win!
