This handy, compact compendium for the church flutist displays the hymntune on one line with the obbligato line above. Though the volume can be used in a variety of ways: solo flute with solo singer two flutes flute, or flutes, with choir flute, or flutes, with choir and congregation two flutes and organ or piano flute, singer, and organ or piano flute, choir, congregation and organ other combinations can be easily envisioned. In some of the above-mentioned, it might be advisable to play the obbligato up an actave, if the flute is at risk of being covered.
