“Sad Carols well arranged!”
The combination of 2 beautiful slow carols, including the Coventry Carol, together with the more upbeat Fum, Fum, Fum make this a really interesting book. All three have been really well-arranged and if sadness at Christmas is for you then so is this book.
Schocker has chosen three familiar Christmas melodies, all in minor keys, and has arranged them for flute and piano in concert setting. Break Forth, O Beauteous Heavenly Light joins the more familiar Coventry Carol and Fum, Fum, Fum in this mini-collection from Falls House Press. The arrangements are approachable, and will serve equally well in church and secular venues. For intermediate to advanced performers.
