Trudy Kane has chosen the more unusual movements from Carmen for this arrangement including all three entr'actes and the Seguidilla. She has done a fine job here, all the flute solos being reproduced almost exactly as in the original orchestral score. The material is shared out equally and everyone shines at some point. This is a great way to get to know Carmen (if you don't already) and great to play if you do.
