This flute quartet is extremely appealing! Although in an easy-listening style, the quality of the writing ensures that all players have plenty to think about. The opening Allegro needs good ensemble skills and an expressive first flute, the slower second movement will tax intonation and the closing Presto is rhythmic and demanding. A bonus is that each movement can easily stand alone. It's a quartet you could play time and time again and always smile!
