“A lovely album of Bernstein arrangements.”
This album of well known and loved tunes by Bernstein (mostly but not all from West Side Story) have been arranged so that the melodies are just as we know them. Old favourites such as Tonight and Maria are joined by Psalm 23 (Chichester Psalms) and A Simple Song from the Mass. The piano parts are very good orchestral reductions and the result is a book that I'm sure you'll just love to turn to again and again.
