These three short Bagatelles are quite delightful and make a really good addition to the romantic repertoire at this level. No 1 (Alla Minuetto) is the longest and perhaps the most challenging of the three having 2 chromatic passages and some top F sharps to negotiate. The Causerie, marked moderato 'placido con delicatezza', and the Valse Gracieuse allow the player to show good tone control and dynamic contrast. Appealing in their own right, these three gems are a great introduction to this style for a younger player.
