This piece was inspired by the harmonies and rhythms of the Aragonaise from Bizet's Carmen - but they were turned into a jazz waltz for saxophones. It features a driving groove in the lower saxophones, and cross rhythms between the parts throughout, with jazzy melodies over the top.
