From the Publisher

Amun-Ra and Octopus belong to the cycle of erotograms by Frank Michael. Both are fully valid compositions. If the solo piece is played, it is called Amun-Ra (Egyptian sun and fertility god). If the solo piece Amun-Ra is recorded on tape - without any technical manipulation - and played live again (octopus voice in the score), the composition Octopus (eight-armed octopus as a metaphor for love) is created. The composer does not see it making sense to perform the work as a duo.

Performance duration (approx): 8
