"American Jazz and More!" is a collection of six original pieces that are suitable for players who are approximately Grade 3 to 5 standard. The pieces encompass a wide range of modern but familiar styles which are challenging but rewarding to play. All the styles are easily identifiable, and each piece aims to portray a particular American sentiment. Much of the modern sound is created in the piano accompaniment while the melodies remain simple but quite rhythmic in nature. There are also opportunities to improvise in a few of the pieces ranging from energetic blues to relaxed modal solos.
