If you're a fan of adapting Bach then this is definitely for you! Adding a cello to the Allemande from the A minor Partita isn't ground-breaking but using the syncopated rhythms of a Latin is rather unexpected. Together the combination really works and is good to listen to as well as play. This works!

A Latin-style arrangement of JS Bach's Allemande from the A minor Partita BWV1013

For centuries, flute players have played the Allemande from the Partita BWV 1013 for flute alone by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750). This arrangement brings a new light to the piece, without sacrificing its original dance flavour. It has an irresistible latin twist and an added bass part written by Gaspar Hoyos. It is an absolute crowd pleaser!
