6 Part Clarinet Ensemble - 4 clarinets, alto clarinet (or Bb clarinet), bass clarinet. A relatively simple yet beautiful arrangement of a choral piece by Rheinberger. G major with an andante tempo marking. Chordal passages alternate with some simple counterpoint building to a magnificent climax in the middle of the piece. Players of grade 3 standard should be able to get a lot out of this piece (although clarinet 4 never actually crosses the break).

Difficulty level, roughly compared to ABRSM exam grades. 0 is total beginner, 9 is advanced (beyond grade 8).
