A Picture of Me Gardening is a humorous piece. It was written on a journey to Scotland in August 1994. Musical and scenic elements are equally weighted and of the same importance. Interpreters are free to find their own way to realize the composer's instructions. They have to decide about the sequence and possible repeats of the singular pages. Also the use of improvisation is a matter about which the palyers decide themselves.
