These five short pieces are quite delightful. Badinage is charming, Berceuse has a lovely tune, Scherzino has a simple rhythmic energy with a slow middle section, Nocturne features a violin tune with bird-like flute accompaniment and the closing Valse dances along bring the work to a great conclusion. The accompaniment holds it all together. Each movement would stand alone and a combination could also work well. Easy listening Romantic style - a winner!
