Lindholm's 'moderate modernistic' music is especially aimed at young flute students, as much modern music is often highly difficult to play. Lindholm....wants to provide a bridge between the more traditional and the most modern musical styles. He also aims to create music which is idiomatic for any instrument and is comfortably playable for the musician.
