“Feel good music!”
These are three wonderfully tuneful duos by the wonderfully tuneful Kaspar Kummer! He writes so well for the flute and each one sings out the melody over simple harmonies and easy-going rhythms. The star here is No 2 in G major where the first movement opens with gently accompanied by plenty of moving quavers, the Andante is a simple canon and the 6/8 finale skips along happily. Feel good music!
