“Proper Jazz Duets”
In this second volume of jazz flute duets Bill Holcombe dispenses with titles and limits his directions sometimes to speed and sometimes to nothing at all. Rhythmic unity is again a feature of the writing, which enables the players to establish a style of their own. The duets work without the accompaniment, but great fun can be had by making use of it to give extra weight. Again expensive but very good.
