“Neglected Trios”
Richard Muller-Dombois has compiled four very good books of trios for his 'Art of Ensemble Playing' series. All his work is extremely good and this second volume contains 20 songs and arias from famous and less well-known composers. The underlying skill here is how to play melodically and sustain the sound, as well as accompany sensitively. This volume will prove to be invaluable and incredibly useful - worth the price tag!
