“A lovely little book!”
Here is a lovely collection of 18 charming pieces for a beginner flute player. Starting very simply and progressing logically, this book is probably best use as supplementary material as technique and reading improve. Each melody has the notes used at the beginning so that exercises could be improvised first. The tunes are all delightful with slightly unusual harmonies in the accompaniment and if it had a colourful cover it would sell in huge numbers!
Difficulty guide: 1-2
Difficulty level, roughly compared to ABRSM exam grades. 0 is total beginner, 9 is advanced (beyond grade 8).
