“Lovely sound”On recommendations from the Just Flutes staff I tried a the Miguel Arista Vintage headjoint on my Altus flute. The sound is wonderful. High notes are sweeter, loud ones are broader and the tone is overall more focused. I feel like this is the more expressive voice I have been looking for and look forward to the potential that this provides. It does "break" a little more than my Altus head joint sometimes if I push the sound but I am sure experience will sort that as I have only been playing with it a couple of weeks.
