“Mancke headjoint with grenadilla lip”I have always admired the softer sound of wooden flutes, particularly the traditional Irish flute sound. As an amateur player, I would highly recommend this headjoint, it has very strong projection, suitable for playing in bands or orchestras, whilst retaining something of the mellower sound of wood. The price has escalated somewhat since I purchased this headjoint, but it is well worthwhile if you can cover the cost.
“Beautiful”Have had this head joint a number of years now and haven't been able to find anything as nice to go with my solid silver flute. Beautiful sound .
