Always great to find music written by female composers and this piece is highly original and accessible to listen to as a whole.
The first movement is lovely and not difficult. The second and third movements are awkward to play - excellent if you want a technical work out, but triplets from top A flat to E flat followed by triplets from top F sharp to D are not for the uncoordinated and are not rewarding to play or listen to when you are practicing.
There are no articulation problems, so if you have a superb technique but bad articulation, this piece is for you - an interesting addition to a chamber music recital.
