This a "rumba" rhythm style jazz duet for clarinet and piano but could be adapted too for playing on tenor saxophone resembling the way Stan Getz played on his Bossa Nova recordings. Bob Wilber, the celebrated Jazz composer and arranger and favourite pupil of Sidney Bechet remarked that it resembles Eddie Sauter's arranging style. A good recommendation Trinity College exam students who wish to get the feel of jazz improvising. Needs a good accompanist acquainted with jazz notation.
