“More suitable for older students/adults”Interesting rhythmic pieces in a style influenced by Hindemith but more immediately accessible. The flute range is quite high throughout with (unmarked) changes of metre in some of the pieces. The original version appears to have been for flute and 2 violins and the piano parts of five of these pieces are a direct transcription, so it has quite a high range with both staves written in the treble clef. This also looks like the original (professionally) hand-written score from 1967 and some students may find this hard to read. 3-4 stars.
