I heard number 30 (Chaconne) on the radio, although I can't remember who was playing. Knew I would enjoy trying to play it as it can be very satisfying to play good studies when no accompaniment will be missing. These were written to help musicians of the day, (1915) cope with new music of the era, although the inspiration fir the studies is decidedly Baroque..they make a very useful addition nevertheless to your library. The notes at the back are very confusing however, and I have ignored those!
